General Interest
2002 : - The only representative of Romania (at the Senior level)
at the European Championships in Patras, Greece - Bronze medal
on Vault, 5th place in the All-around.
- World Championships in Debrecen: Silver on U Bars and 4th
place on Vault.
Petrovschi's success in Hungary came in a very difficult time
for the Romanian Women's Gymnastics and most probably she will
be one of the most significant pole
- players in the Team of the five times World Champions for
the Olympic qualifications in Anaheim (USA) 2003 and for Athens
2004. Did not make the national team on her first try-out in
1998. Was named to the alternate position for the 2000 European
Junior Championships.
A free-spirited and easygoing athlete, according to coach BELU.
Favorite gymnast is Andreea Raducan, who also hails from Barlad.
Lives with her mother and step-father. Has an older brother.
Full name is Oana Andreea PETROVSCHI. Name is pronounced "Wana
Petrovski".
Enjoys watching movies and painting plates. |
