: Rosu and Eremia left home for Euros
Only Catalina Ponor, Floarea Leonida and Daniela Sofronie
will go at Euros in Debrecen. During a final meeting today,
the RGF has decided to not take the risks and send Rosu and
Eremia to Euros, despite the INMS negative opinion on this.
Past few weeks the INMS was under heavy pressure from RGF,
B&B-which also asked for "help" from ROC (but
they stated is not their area of competence, it's a RGF problem
to deal with doctors) to push the INMS doctors for a positive
agreement. They also used again a *friendly* sport tabloid,
the one which have printed the Oana P. stolen photos, to print
in advance "the almost sure INMS favorable decision"
-trying to suggest the final conclusion. As it didn't work
back in February, in P. case (when same k-i-a tabloid said
the trial will be lost by gymnast, trying to suggest the Court
decision), it didn't worked now, too.
Coach Bitang -"Cruella" has asked RGF to send Monica
Rosu and Alexandra Eremia at other medical tests abroad, in
Germany or Vienna If she will travel enough around the globe,
she may finally find (again) some doctors willing to sign
a waiver for girls to compete, but the Romanian law require
the INMS agreement on this, otherwise, next trial knock on
the door.
Being so pissed of by this (first in 30 years) sign of independence
of INMS and respect of their profession (as it should always
be), Cruella said she will not keep any more in the team Rosu
and Eremia, if abroad doctors will not give the agreement
for training. They can't give it, because it's not their competence.
This mean we can see Rosu and Eremia retiring in few weeks.
If they manage to end their career on their feet, Rosu and
Eremia should thanks to Petrovschi case and INMS (first) sign
of dignity; their doctors said that both girls are a step
close to paralysis if they continue training/competing.The
INMS has asked for help the best Bucharest hospitals, which
means that B&B accusations of their low competence due
to lack of equipment is weak. And they just discovered this,
first time when they didn't get what they want. Time changes,
Cruella should learn some respect for girls health and protect
it as much as possible from beginning, not pushing far beyond
the safety limits.
Razvan Busneag, INMS Director for "Atac":..."There
is even the risk of paralysis. Girls (Rosu and Eremia) have
to take a break and after that, at the end of June, to return
for another check. The specialists told them to think about
another activity, too."-meaning to quit gymnastics.

"Cotidianul" (May 25) wrote the same and more: "...before
giving these recommendations, we have asked for their opinions
professors Stanculescu and Antonescu- both are CO-presidents
of the Orthopedic commission at the Health Ministry. Girls
went for tests at the biggest Bucharest hospitals.The final
conclusions were given by the professors from those hospitals."
