Petrovschi (Happy) Birthday near family -a first after 12
years
Oana's first greeting call, after 12,00 o'clock, was from
her boyfriend from Germany, to wish her "Happy
Birthday" . The second one was from romanian-gymnastics.com.
Later on Sunday we asked her more about how she spend her
Birthday, the first to spend with her family after 12 long
years!
"It was so nice to see all my family
around at my Birthday, this was my best gift". Oana spend
the weekend at her parents home, 40 km near Deva.She has returned
Sunday afternoon to Deva and have had a second (smaller) party,
with her roommates and job colleagues.
Oana received a sport, among other gifts, double sided (black
and white) coat (from her mother and her uncle); a pair of
blue jeans with little stars stitched on the sides (from her
mother); a black&pink, sport blouse; a puppy toy with
" I love you" signs; an orchid in a nice decorated
bowl; roses; a full box of her favorites candies; an iron
"Alpin 80" model -from some neighbors. Her colleagues
from job (newspaper "Replica" of Deva) gave her
a nice huge cake with a photo printed on top (a recent, Romanian-made
invention allow any photo to be printed on a top of a cake,
and the quality is very good). Actually, Oana have had two
big cakes, the second one, from her mother, having another
photos of her, with a photo of Oana, in a (very) short skirt
on top of the cake.
"New York Times" daily will make an interview with
her on Monday and also romanian-gymnastics.com was asked for
help by one of the world's largest news TV channels-for a
Report on her next Curt session; another TV station, one of
the biggest US channels, is preparing a documentary on Oana's
story.
A Romanian independent TV station asked Oana to appear live
in a four hours program about the Oana's story.Oana have had
postponed the invitation, originally made in early december-to
avoid inflaming her case outside the Court. Now that "the
other side" has used all the dirty tricks somebody can
imagine, she has accepted the invitation.
On Feb14, Oana have to go also to the Bucharest attorney's
office for hearings regarding Belu's statements (those admitting
he get under table the 30% " gift tax" from Oana,
too). Oana will be asked about her knowledge on this and the
details about how the money were paid (because if the Belu
asked for them, as Oana stated in the Court and other girls
have admitted, this is,according to local laws, coruption-because
Belu was at the time a State paid coach).
