[Feb 2] Belu's earnings over
last decade:$ 675 000
Romanian Pro TV station aired this evening a short, but
very well documented report about Belu's vs.Oana case. The
most interesting part was a graphics showing clearly the "Subject
Nr.13"-which nobody dares to touch it, until recently:
Belu's earnings over last decade (with him being very pissed
off when a sport newspapers did a similar one, for only few
last years.
The Pro TV total for the last decade (don't know if the 30%
"gift tax" is included here) was... (not less than)
a nice $ 675 000! We all knows his all time complains about
poor wages they get, and the sympathy from people who were
supposing they were so badly paid for doing such a great job.
From the Romanian gymnastics fans opinions, posted over Net,
in one of the most "liberal" forums:
"From his gymnast winning metals in the last quad he
made $675,000 and he still wants 30% of their winnings plus
he gets paid monthly. He made on average $172,890 a year.
Here in the US that's a pretty damn good living; in Romania
that kind of money could having him living like Donald Trump.
