[August 8] Oana Petrovschi
to become a Journalist
Earlier
this morning, after the file checks and a brief interview,
Oana Petrovschi was officially admitted at the
Journalism
-distance learning courses section of the "Spiru
Haret" Universtity in Bucharest.
Knowing the (maybe never to be disclosed) details of Petrovschi
trial earlier this year, the immense pressure she has to handle,
we have all the reasons to believe Oana
Petrovschi will be a (dam) good journalist, the kind
of Romania has a great need, after so many years of k-i-@
(kiss in the ass) "journalism" (still used, because
is so comfortable, by some sport tabloids). If she could fight
so much and hard for her rights, I'm pretty sure Oana can
make a good career as a sport-investigative journalist or
something alike.
Two other universities have had offered to
Oana free tuition but she has choose to register to the "Spiru
Haret"because "it has a good reputation, solid recommendations,
their own national TV learning channel and is one of the largest
in Eastern Europe". Silvia
Stroescu, from Athens Gold Team, is also a student
there, but at a different section (psihology).
Oana
Petrovschi came to Bucharest this morning, along with
her mother and a cousin, from a one week holiday & treatment
on the Black Sea coast. She has registered for the Journalism
University and then rush to continue her travel back to nearby
Arad village where her mom live. "I want to make a short
stop at the "Curtea de Arges"monastery which I liked
very much after my first visit, and want to show it to my
family, too. Hope to get back home before getting dark ."
We hope too, because for such a young driver (she got her
license just two month ago), making the trip from Constanta
to Bucharest and then up to Arad is a lot (practically, she
has to cross the country from East to West, like 600 miles/
800 km) in one day.Remember, we talk about Romanian roads,
something like European roads during 30's.
